How do I use keywords?
Keywords is any word, or words, in addition to the Item Name, which you associate with the contents of a folder or container of indexed item(s). This allows you to not be limited to the one or two word item name that you would have put on the hanging file folder plastic tab and to be able to conduct a search in Paper Tiger filing system software database under any keyword you have input previously to be able to find the item quickly when you need it.
Example keywords for your folder, “Sales Reports” might include: NW region, monthly sales, or Tom Jones. You can find any item quickly by entering any of the keywords for the folder, or the Item Name, into Paper Tiger’s Search function.
